Donations cover the costs of text and reference books, videos, computers, office supplies, and postage. Since we are staffed only by volunteers, our program is very cost effective. $300 provides one student a year of college-level education. It costs $600 per student to open a new branch at another correctional facility.

TEACH
We are always searching for qualified volunteer teachers. A Master’s degree is required, and we have several teachers with doctorates. If you have a Bachelor’s degree and would like to serve as a teaching assistant, we would like to hear from you.

COLLABORATE
Inside correctional facilities:
Be a mentor, supervising study sessions and helping students.
Outside correctional facilities:
Arrange a gathering at your place of worship or community organization where a Rising Hope alumnus can share his experiences with Rising Hope and its impact on his life.
